Our revolutionary mix of grass seed and fertilizer in one effective formula will change the way you grow grass. Compared to seed alone, your lawn will grow 2X faster. This product is bred in the South for the South and grows green, lush grass in just weeks. Use on either new lawns or over seeding existing grass. For excellent results, apply in the spring or fall when air temperatures are between 65 deg F and 85 deg F. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product. Be sure to apply Scotts lawn food products every 8 weeks throughout the season to help maintain your thick, green lawn. One 5.6 lb bag of Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass™ Southern Gold® blend for tall fescue lawns has a new lawn coverage of 615 sq-ft and an over seeding coverage of 1845 sq-ft.
